The staff were amazing and accommodating.

I faced several issues during my stay. The food quality was very disappointing and akin to pet food rather than appropriate meals for the price. It was particularly frustrating when I needed assistance regarding my belongings, but there were delays in their responses.

A cozy diving getaway

This place has an awesome vibe! Felt like a big family. Met my dive buddy in just 10 mins during lunch. The rooftop movie nights were super fun, and the food was amazing – really can’t believe others didn’t enjoy it. Only thing was the fish could be less dry. The sea view from my room was just perfect!

Amazing house reef!

The Breakers has a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and excellent food, but the water policy is frustratingly strict and could be better. While the beach isn't sandy, the house reef is great for snorkeling. Overall, it’s a nice place that offers a solid experience for divers and beach lovers alike.

Amazing hotel with great diving, friendly staff, and a lovely spa. The beautiful rooms and outdoor pool. I remember the staff helped me discover local dives on my first visit. Highly recommend for an escape!

Great location near Orca dive base, but snorkeling was underwhelming with less sea life.

I had a fantastic time enjoying the amazing house reef for snorkeling and doing some yoga on the jetty in the evenings. The spa and sauna were perfect for unwinding after an active day. Just be aware that the food could use a little improvement, but overall, it was a great escape! 😌

Had an amazing trip with friends! The rooms were super comfy with great views, and the ORCA Dive Club made diving unforgettable. Enjoyed jogging on scenic trails next to palm trees too. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious with plenty of choices.

Kite surfing was a letdown. conditions weren't great for beginners, making it tough for my partner.

enjoyable stay but minor inconveniences

I found the yoga classes on the jetty to be exceptional, relaxing, and calming. The natural materials in the rooms created a cozy ambiance that I appreciated. The snorkeling right off the house reef was breathtaking. I could have spent hours exploring the marine life. The garden view from my room added a lovely touch to my mornings.

The check-in process was sluggish at times.

The room was new and clean, with a nice pool and excellent house reef. The buffet had a good variety, especially for European tastes, which gave a taste of home.

The hotel has serious inclusivity issues, especially for non-white travelers. Service was spotty, and I felt uncomfortable with how I was treated by the staff. Plus, the loud music at dinner made it tough to enjoy the meal.

The reception lacked timely responses after check-out, especially regarding lost items.

the breaker's diving and surfing lodge soma bay is a gem for divers. the access to the reef is amazing, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. the staff are super friendly, and the outdoor seating areas are lovely. i also enjoyed the yoga classes!
